NEW: Salesforce Career Marketplace

The Trailblazer Career Marketplace was announced by Salesforce at the Salesforce World Tour in New York City on December 14th, 2023.

We’ve seen Salesforce-specific job portals and listing sites in the past, but now Salesforce is bringing this service into the fold within the Trailzblazer platform, where most Salesforce professionals already have a presence.

Why does this matter? Should I care? These are some questions that immediately come to mind. And the answer…yes, yes on both accounts.

I’ll get to why in a second, but first I want to mention that most of the job postings found in the Salesforce Career Center are syndicated from other sites, such as Indeed. Thus, you are not really going to get much out of searching for job postings on Salesforce’s site that you cannot get elsewhere.

So why care? Well, because you can build out a profile and resume that is then made available to companies who are searching for talent. This is a big deal. Now recruiters and hiring managers can go straight to the source to validate and find professionals who have certain badges, certifications, or supersets.

Go ahead, add a video to your profile introducing yourself as a Salesforce professional, add your work history, and add your project experience to stand out from the crowd and showcase what you’ve worked on to backup those shiny certifications.
